Wire rope clips DIN 741 are the most demanded type of rigging on the market, used to connect the ends of steel cables or form loops in the manufacture of guy wires, spacers and other fasteners. The scope of application of finished rope products based on DIN 741 clamps (analogue of the EN 13411-5 standard) is very wide and varied, except for lifting work (securing loads and vertical building structures, tensioning safety halyards, rigging, etc.)
The rope clamps are made of carbon steel, and the galvanized coating ensures durability and corrosion resistance of the rigging, even in wet and corrosive operating conditions. Structurally, the rope clamp consists of a metal bracket with threads at the ends, through which a cast clamping block is put on, and two nuts for tightening.
For the manufacture of one loop of the rope, at least 3 clamps are required, sequentially installed at a distance that is equal to six diameters of the rope. In this case, the clamping block must be at the working end of the rope.
